Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Service Director to join our Cruise division, responsible for the end‑to‑end installation and maintenance of our proprietary commercial cleaning products (CBN+).
Responsibilities
* Report directly to the COO and oversee the full lifecycle of CBN+ product installations, maintenance, and service.
* Manage a team of engineers, project managers, and chemical experts to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of installations and servicing.
* Ensure all dispensing/dosing equipment and ancillary parts are available for vessel activities.
* Deploy qualified engineers and personnel to on‑board activities within agreed timescales and budgets.
* Contribute to detailed project plans and present them to clients upon request.
* Set and manage budgets for each CBN+ deployment project.
* Maintain consistent communication with cruise line contacts, representing the Tower brand with professionalism.
* Support ongoing business development for CBN+ and new product lines suitable for the market.
* Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to protect and grow margins.
* Assist operations in setting up new 3PL locations in the US and Europe.
* Oversee post‑installation maintenance schedules for each vessel.
* Ensure commercial viability of installations and maintenance under target profit margins.
* Seek ways to improve profit margins through efficient use of resources and products.
* Develop and maintain high‑standard training methods for dosing equipment and CBN+ usage.
* Understand the chemical range and discuss technical details to drive product development.
* Provide confidence to customers through collaboration with sales and proactive issue resolution.
* Document all processes and ensure compliance with standards such as ISO9001.
Qualifications
* Commercially astute with experience in international frameworks, especially US and European markets.
* Certified project management experience preferred.
* Background in commercial use of hygiene and laundry products in B2B environments.
* Experience in marine or shipping environments, working closely with engineering teams.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
