TecRec are currently recruiting for a Technical Facilities Manager to a static commercial site in Kingston Upon Thames my client provides and manages numerous engineering services across the commercial sector in throughout the UK.
You will be responsible for manging a P&L and a team of static engineers onsite. This an excellent opportunity to join an established maintenance provider who invest both time and training into their employees.
The ideal candidate will have experience as well as qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Air Conditioning.
As the Facilities Manager, you will be at the heart of service delivery, leading a team, managing compliance and ensuring exceptional standards across M&E maintenance, projects and sustainability initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Leading and developing a team of supervisors and engineers to deliver hard services and compliance.
Driving operational excellence through inspections, audits, and performance reviews.
Managing stakeholder relationships and presenting MI reports at KPI meetings.
Supporting sustainability goals and contributing to the Net Zero journey.
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and company policies.
Identifying and implementing value-add initiatives and energy-saving solutions.
The Ideal candidate:
Proven experience in facilities management, ideally across multi-site portfolios.
Strong technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, Gas or F-Gas disciplines.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
IOSH or NEBOSH certification and BIFM qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
Hands-on approach with a passion for service excellence and team development.
