Due to a member of our reception team relocating, we are looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team at Sean Murphy Dental Care in the heart of Bruntsfield, south side Edinburgh.

The Dental Receptionist is responsible for providing a welcoming environment to our patients. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring their experience with us is positive from the moment they walk through the door. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a dental practice, managing administration duties including the appointment system SoE Exact, payments and patient enquiries. We are looking for a Receptionist with exceptional communication skills, and strong attention to detail, able to multitask and work well under pressure while always maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Responsibilities include:
* Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanour, making them feel welcome and at ease
* Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times
* Collaborate closely with our dental team to coordinate patient appointments and optimize office efficiency
* Provide administrative support, including managing patient files.
