Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated AV Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating tailored audio-visual system designs that align with client requirements and project goals. From initial consultation to final documentation, you will work closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to deliver cutting-edge, reliable AV solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with clients to understand their audio-visual needs and project objectives
* Develop detailed AV system designs and technical documentation
* Specify and select appropriate equipment based on functionality, performance, and budget
* Work alongside the installation team to ensure successful system delivery and integration
* Provide remote support and consultation where applicable
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and technologies
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in AV system design and deployment
* Strong knowledge of AV technologies, signal flow, and system architecture
* Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Visio)
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and in a team
* Familiarity with residential and commercial AV environments is highly desirable
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in AV technology, engineering, or related disciplines preferred
