HR Generalist Position at Vertiv
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an HR Generalist to provide key local HR support at our production site in Campsie. The role involves supporting Operational Managers across all aspects of their people strategy and being a vital part of the HR team supporting large-scale manufacturing operations in Ireland.
Responsibilities include:
1. Utilising HR and business systems to build and report employee KPIs for data-driven decision-making.
2. Monitoring HR data for accuracy and quality management.
3. Providing HR advice, guidance, and support to management and staff in line with company policy and employment legislation across the manufacturing network in Ireland.
4. Assisting with HR systems integration and change management initiatives.
5. Supporting managers in staff management and achieving departmental objectives.
6. Driving HR-related business initiatives and improvements.
7. Identifying and evaluating development needs within the business.
8. Developing departmental development plans to enhance skills and knowledge.
9. Implementing and monitoring HR procedures and compliance.
10. Working with recruitment providers and hiring managers to recruit qualified candidates.
11. Resolving HR issues promptly and cost-effectively.
12. Handling general HR administration and maintaining personnel records.
13. Providing data to Payroll for accurate monthly payroll administration.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR-related role with employee relations expertise.
* An HR or relevant degree is advantageous.
* Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, HCM, and ORC is beneficial.
* Proficiency in HR databases and MS Office applications.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical & Environmental Demands: The role requires presence on a manufacturing site, observing PPE and EHS policies.
Travel: Up to 10% travel to other sites in Ireland (Burnfoot or Letterkenny).
