Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for the role of Environmental Health Officer within the Environmental Health Team in Glasgow.
Based within the Business Regulation team, you will work both independently and collaboratively to deliver the Environmental Health service in Glasgow. Responsibilities include food law inspections and investigations, Health and Safety enforcement, and Licensing.
Requirements include a Degree and Diploma in Environmental Health, proficiency in Microsoft Office, a working knowledge of the role of an Environmental Health Officer within a local authority, a flexible approach to work, good IT and communication skills. Applications are accepted from candidates planning to undertake professional exams in October 2025.
A current driving licence is desirable.
