Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for the role of Environmental Health Officer within the Environmental Health Team in Glasgow.
Based within the Business Regulation team, you will work both independently and collaboratively to deliver the Environmental Health service in Glasgow. Responsibilities include food law inspections and investigations, Health and Safety enforcement, and Licensing.
Applicants should have a Degree and Diploma in Environmental Health, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of the role of an Environmental Health Officer within a local authority setting. A flexible approach, good IT and communication skills, and a current driving license are desirable.
Applications will be accepted from candidates planning to undertake professional exams in October 2025.
