SC Senior Platform Engineer - Hampshire (full time onsite) - £480-£580 per day outside ir35 - 3 months rolling
Please note: Due to the nature of the project, successful applicants will be required to be Security Cleared prior to appointment.
They are also open to immediately available permanent candidates. Salary circa £75,000.
My client is an SME consultancy, specialising within the defence and security sector. They are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to play a key role in the design, delivery, and evolution of our platform engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable platform solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
2. Contribute to the development and governance of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
3. Support the implementation of monitoring, observability, and incident response frameworks.
4. Collaborate with SRE and operations teams to ensure platform reliability, performance, and resilience.
5. Participate in incident response and root cause analysis, driving continuous improvement.
6. Act as a subject matter expert in platform technologies, guiding engineering decisions and best practices.
