Position OverviewThe Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities related to the smooth day-to-day running of the office location. The role encompasses a broad range of activities, ensuring the location meets required standards and conditions, is well equipped and maintained, and adheres to health and safety and compliance policies. This role is at the heart of the business and is critical to creating and maintaining a great working environment for everyone. We are looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented person for our client.
Key Responsibilities
1. Be the main point of contact for duties such as office maintenance, supplies, and equipment.
2. Support the HR function with onboarding new hires and IT equipment provisions, as well as update and maintain office and health & safety policies and procedures.
3. Manage all office suppliers, ensuring they meet required standards.
4. Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for leadership where required.
5. Ensure cost management of office-related spends, including contract management.
6. Manage buildings and contents insurance, work-related travel insurance.
