Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive educational setting in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or aspiring SEN professional who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs.
The Role
Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet a range of SEN needs
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to support individual learning plans (EHCPs)
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with pupils with special educational needs (e.g. ASD, SEMH, ADHD, PMLD)
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
