Job Title: Head of School (Alternative Provision)

With expanded facilities in Hamilton Square, we seek a dynamic leader to foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership experience and a deep commitment to helping students achieve positive outcomes.
You will lead operations at our Hamilton Square provision and support a nearby site in collaboration with a neighbouring Head. Your role is crucial in guiding students back into mainstream education or successful post-16 transitions.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide strong, visible leadership
2. Mentor and support staff
3. Oversee the school's curriculum and standards
4. Ensure compliance with Independent School Standards
5. Promote an inclusive, high-expectation culture
6. Uphold safeguarding, equality, and H&S policies
7. Represent the school in the local community
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven leadership experience (e.g., Head of Department, SLT)
2. Experience managing provisions of similar size (~15 staff, 35 students)
3. Degree + QTS, QTLS, or overseas equivalent
4. Track record of improving student outcomes
5. Strong understanding of compliance and policy
Desirable: NPQH (completed or in progress)
