Enhanced Clinical Fellow (ST3–ST5 equivalent)
We are seeking an enthusiastic Enhanced Clinical Fellow to join our Emergency Surgery Team. The post is primarily based within Emergency Surgery and the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) unit, with regular access to emergency theatres and opportunities to gain elective theatre experience within Colorectal and Upper GI surgery.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend and participate in theatre lists, clinics and endoscopy sessions.
* Provide care within the full elective and emergency rota, including an on‑call emergency general surgery block.
* Support clinical development and progression within upper and lower gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality patient care.
Training and Development
* Position aligns as a UK training post, providing access to structured clinical education.
* Opportunities for further training in endoscopy and leadership skills.
* Access to a range of professional, management and clinical skills training.

Eligibility and Start Date
