What we are looking for
We are in search of a technically adept and customer-focused candidate with:
* Demonstrable experience as a Systems Technician within the automotive industry, preferably Mercedes-Benz
* Advanced knowledge in automotive systems, diagnostics, and first-time repair
* Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
* Relevant automotive technician qualifications
* A full, clean UK Driving Licence
Key Responsibilities of System Technician - Mercedes-Benz Cars
* Conducting thorough diagnostics to identify vehicle issues
* Performing maintenance and repair work according to Mercedes-Benz standards
* Providing detailed reports and recommendations post-assessment
* Demonstrates strong communication skills with team and customers
* Stays updated with the latest automotive technology and systems
* This is a permanent, full-time position - standard working hours: 40 hours per week, typically 0800-1700, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Level 3 NVQ or equivalent formal qualifications in automotive engineering
* Certificated for 3 years at a diagnostic/systems technician role
* Able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
