Due to our client's continuing success and as they continue to expand as apany, they are now seeking a passionate and driven Senior Building Surveyor who is looking for their next opportunity to join the Liverpool team and with the opportunity to progress.Team overviewYou’ll be joining an experienced team of Building Surveyors with a focus onmercial surveying, dilapidations and professional services.As you grow and develop within the team, you will need to demonstrate the capability of eventually managing individual team members, including picking up and organising their project work and, where necessary, assisting them on projects.As a Senior / Chartered Building Surveyor, your role will include:
1. Lead and develop detailed briefs in conjunction with the Client and senior colleagues.
2. Establish and maintain client relationships
3. Support business development activities by senior colleagues
4. Produce designs and specifications including preparation of tender documentation
5. Administering JCT building contracts
6. Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (including condition surveys, specific defect analysis, party wall consultancy, dilapidations, feasibilities etc.)
7. Liaise with clients, contractors and other consultants (internal and external)
8. Assist the team leader with mentoring and control of project finances
Experience and skills required:
9. MRICS Chartered (preferable)
10. Have experience of advising on dilapidations and landlord / tenant matters.
11. Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Office skills
12. Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel within the UK
13. The role will require you to be the key point of contact with our prestigious clients. Therefore, a high level ofmunication skills andmercial awareness are essential for being successful in this role.
