An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Assembly Technician (Mechanical) to join a leading manufacturing company. This hands‑on role involves precision assembly, mechanical and electrical testing, and quality assurance of high‑specification components.
You’ll be working as part of a dedicated production team, contributing to new production lines using modern cell assembly techniques.
Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical assembly of precision‑engineered components and sub‑assemblies
* Performing quality control checks following detailed production instructions
* Conducting functionality and electrical safety tests
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised workstation at all times
* Assisting in other departments (stores, packing, testing) when required
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English (Grade C or above)
* Previous experience in mechanical assembly using fine tooling
* Basic electrical wiring experience
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work independently and plan work efficiently
* Fluent written and spoken English
Training & Development
Full factory‑based training will be provided to familiarise you with company products, components, and assembly/testing processes.
