Join the Dorset Steps 2 Wellbeing Service as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) focused on staff wellbeing, recovery rates, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
* Conduct patient interviews.
* Carry out risk assessments.
* Provide phone, online, or face‑to‑face support.
* Liaise with other agencies and signpost patients to services such as housing and employment.
* Accept referrals via agreed protocols.
* Assess and support people with common mental health problems in self‑management of recovery.
* Provide evidence‑based high‑volume low‑intensity psychological treatments including guided self‑help computerised CBT and information about pharmacological treatments.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity CBT with IAPT PWP status, or an MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical) qualification.
* Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (cost covered by the Trust).
* Applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship are not eligible.

Position is within the NHS Talking Therapies, supporting patients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
