Day Support Worker Young Adult Day Services Contract: Permanent Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday (8.30am-3.30pm) Salary: £12.60 per hour will increase with length of service Please note: This role does not meet UK Home Office criteria for Health and Social Care Visa sponsorship. About the Role We are recruiting Day Support Workers to join our Adult Day Services team within a beautiful community living facility located beside the beach. The role involves supporting young adults with additional needs to take part in meaningful daytime activities that promote independence, wellbeing, dignity, and choice. This position requires a strong commitment to person-centred care, confidentiality, and professional practice, ensuring all personal and sensitive information is protected at all times. Key Responsibilities Support young adults to engage in structured, meaningful day activities Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans and PBS strategies Promote independence, communication, and skill development Support personal care needs when required, maintaining dignity and privacy Respond appropriately to behaviours of concern using trained approaches Maintain accurate daily records and reports in line with confidentiality and data protection policies Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals Essential Criteria QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or at least one year's relevant care experience GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above) or Essential Skills Level 2 Registered with, or willing to register with, NISCC Minimum six months' experience in a caring or support role Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries Caring, reliable, and flexible approach Eligibility to work in the UK and successful Enhanced Access NI check For more information- get in touch with Hannah Hollywood Harry @ Staffline Recruitment Ireland or click apply Skills: Autism Challenging Behavior Support
