Jetting Operative - Drainage We are looking for full time Jetting Operatives to join our team at Thermatic Drainage. This role will support the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of our client services by attending client sites to conduct planned and reactive maintenance work. This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence. The ideal candidate will have previous drainage experience and will be familiar with unblocking drains, high-pressure water jetting, trenchless pipework repairs (no dig repairs) and carrying out looksee CCTV drain inspections. Ideally you will hold the relevant competencies, but where training gaps are evident or where refresher courses are needed, we will offer full support and training will be provided. You will need to able to attend PDS Head Office in Deeside each day. Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm - 42.5 hour working week. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients may require "out of hours" maintenance so early starts/late finishes, weekend & night works are to be expected. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Essential: Minimum 2 years’ drainage experience Minimum 2 years’ experience operating High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment High pressure water jetting safety awareness certified Working knowledge of drainage systems Working knowledge of unblocking drainage systems Competent in using CCTV drain survey equipment Confident problem solver Excellent communication skills Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations Full UK driving licence Desirable: Minimum 2 years drainage experience within a reactive maintenance or FM role Manual handling First aid Abrasive wheels Confined space entry certified Drain lining experience Use of CAT (cable avoidance tool) for utility and sonde location works Asbestos Awareness certified CSCS card Responsibilities include: Working on reactive contracts undertaking all aspects of drainage fault finding works, including CCTV drain surveying, HPW jetting/drain cleaning works, drain unblocking, drain lining repairs (experience dependant), drain excavation and repair, drainage layout mapping (experience dependant), drainage works problem solving. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with Thermatic’s PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and task schedules as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team Providing accurate timesheet information to designated timeframes Carrying out basic facilities maintenance tasks as required Supporting contract teams with meeting SLAs by attending client premises within the desired timeframe Supporting Thermatic with maintaining positive client relationships through on-site interactions with representative and customers of our clients Assisting office-based staff by providing accurate and good quality information for any further works quotations.
