Head of Events Marketing – International B2B Conferences – London
6 Month Fixed Term Contract, with strong options to turn permanent
to £80k Basic plus Bonus + Great Benefits
This role is hybrid, with 3 days in the Central London office per week (Tues, Weds, Thurs)
NB - you must have 5+ years of Events Marketing experience to be considered for this role and be immediately available to start.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in information and intelligence products as a Head of Events Marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns for a high-value global portfolio of international Conferences & Events, within the Global Tech sector.
There will also be opportunities to travel to these events in the US, Middle East, Europe and Asia.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of B2B Events marketing experience, ideally within tech, telecoms, media or similar sector
* Planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
* Experience with managing website CMS
* Writing compelling messages for different audience segments
* Using a marketing automation - Hubspot
* Using a CRM system, ideally Salesforce
* An understanding of Google’s suite of products
* Experience in digital marketing techniques and channels
* Establish a data-driven approach to strategic and tactical decision making
* A proven record of testing, measuring and evaluating marketing channels to optimise spend and demonstrate ROI
* Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate performance metrics, challenges and opportunities to the event project team
Reporting to the Marketing Director, your responsibilities will be to:
* Campaign planning and execution for events across email, social, website and advocacy tools
* Copywriting for email, web, social and digital advertising
* Creating email campaigns and landing pages
* Working with the Marketing Executive to create compelling social content
* and continue to drive LinkedIn followers and engagement
* Managing the Hubspot database for events including segmentation, data capture and lists
* Managing website updates and optimisation throughout the campaigns
* Managing Editorial newsletter updates (banners etc)
* Managing content marketing campaigns for video interviews conducted at events
* Writing and coordinating copy and creative briefs for event collateral as well as onsite signage
* Weekly reporting of campaign activity against KPIs and benchmarks
* Attending regular weekly meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss campaign performance, recommendations and establish the upcoming campaign schedule
* Completing thorough campaign reports that detail contextualised results and that make recommendations for future execution
