Your Role
As our Nursery Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of up to 15 babies under 2 years old. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team of skilled practitioners to create a nurturing and safe environment that fosters physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Implementing a key person approach to help babies form secure attachments.
* Guiding colleagues in identifying training and development needs.
* Maintaining high-quality learning journals and records using EyLog and EyMan systems.
* Building positive relationships with parents and inviting them to participate in activities.
* Modeling professionalism, consistency, and impartiality within the team.
* Ensuring compliance with EYFS framework and safety standards.
A passion for outdoor learning and a strong understanding of child development will be essential for your success in this role!
Essential Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for candidates who possess:
* A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare (Essential).
* Previous experience working with babies under 2 years old.
* A genuine passion for the outdoors and enthusiasm for forest school activities.
* A strong understanding of child development and the ability to provide purposeful learning experiences.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in working with parents and colleagues.
* A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
