Job Description Contract Job Opportunity: Ruby on Rails Developer Location: Wales (IoT Infrastructure Business) Rate: £400-£450 per day Contract Length: 6 Months About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to join an IoT infrastructure business based in Wales. You will be involved in two critical projects, contributing to the development of internal tools that drive operational efficiency and scalability. Projects: Fleet Atlas Tool: Develop a global tracking tool to monitor millions of devices. Implement filters for clients, countries, and device status (battery life, signalling issues, firmware connection). Create an intuitive interface for viewing and resolving issues. Internal Product Catalogue: Build a robust internal product catalogue to streamline sales processes. Replace current manual systems (Excel and emails) with an efficient, centralized solution. Ensure the tool is easily maintainable and scalable. Tech Stack: Full Stack Ruby on Rails (Frontend and Backend for internal products) SQL Lite Hotwire for Frontend Development Requirements: Proven experience with Ruby on Rails in full-stack development. Strong knowledge of SQL Lite and Hotwire. Ability to build scalable, maintainable internal products. Experience in developing tools for data visualization and process control.
