Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.We have won a number of large projects in the North, particularly in the Healthcare sector and are looking to grow our teams in both Leeds and Manchester.Job Responsibilities will include:Reporting to the Associate Director and being responsible for the management and delivery of small and medium sized projectsResponsible for project financesManaging a small team of engineers and provides specialised technical input to studies and design to assist in the development of junior and graduate engineersParticipate, manage and engage in interdisciplinary review of project deliverablesPreparation of fee estimates, design programme and liaison with clients to agree project deliverablesParticipating in quality control review of design calculations or drawingsPreparing technical specification sections.Providing input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.Having a good understanding of software packages used for the design of electrical servicesManaging project resources to meet the agreed deliverables on programme and within budgetMinimum Requirements:Successful track record of electrical services designA highly motivated individual with a passion for succeeding and developingHave previous experience working as either a Senior / Principal EngineerExcellent communicator (both written and verbal) with strong negotiation skills.Membership of a relevant professional body, such as IETGood understanding of software packages used to design electrical servicesExperience in delivering projects using BIM software packagesThe successful candidate will preferably have had experience in the design and delivery of healthcare facilitiesQualificationsHave a CIBSE/IET/IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degreeShould be a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant professional bodyExtensive post graduate experienceQualificationsAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
