Your new role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a modern fleet of HGVs and trailers. Working within a busy workshop, your duties will include:
1. Conducting routine servicing, MOT preparation, and scheduled maintenance
2. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
3. Carrying out repairs to engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension, and hydraulics
4. Ensuring accurate documentation andpliance withpany procedures
5. Supporting breakdowns when required and contributing to a safe working environment
What you'll need to succeed
6. Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / Technician
7. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or significant experience)
8. Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
9. Knowledge of current DVSA standards
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
11. A proactive attitude andmitment to high‑quality workmanship
12. HGV licence is desirable but not essential
