Heartwood Medical Practice is a well-established and respected GP Practice in the centre ofSwadlincote, based within themodern SwadlincoteHealth Centre.

PLEASE NOTE - Previous medical receptionist experience in a GP Surgery is essential.
Main duties of the job
This post provides anopportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, hardworking and reliableindividual to join our reception team. The successful candidate must have previous experience of reception work within aGP surgery environment, ideally using SystmOne. The role will include reception - both dealing with patients over the phone and in person, and associated administration.

Heartwood Medical Practice has a patient list of 11,000, supported by a team of almost 40 staff, including 3 Partner GPs, 2 Salaried GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic, Pharmacist, Practice Nurses, Health and Wellbeing Coach, Health Care Assistants and Administration team.

Job responsibilities
The role
Receptionist to work on a part time basis, around 20 hours per week.
Shift pattern to be agreed between the opening hours of 7.15am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility to cover team annual leave absence is essential.
