About the role
We at Cora Health are growing our team of talented clinicians and are currently looking for an experienced physiotherapist to join our team as a First Contact Practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality patient-centred care. You will be part of a large multidisciplinary team in and around the Kent area, working across integrated community services to provide specialist MSK physiotherapy assessment and treatment in clinic-based settings, as an autonomous practitioner, and in GP surgeries/primary care networks as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
You will manage a diverse caseload, making decisions about the best course of action for patients’ care, considering differential diagnoses, and supporting patients to set their own goals. You will use shared decision making at the heart of every consultation and act as a First Contact Practitioner to provide clinical expertise and determine the most appropriate management plan (including undifferentiated conditions).
This role involves seeing patients four days a week without prior contact with their GP to establish rapid and accurate diagnoses and management plans, progressing investigations as needed, and using clinical knowledge to aid diagnosis, management, and discharge. You will deliver programmes of supported patient self-management to facilitate behavioural change, improve physical activity and mobility, help patients achieve personal goals and independence, and minimise reliance on pharmacological interventions.
We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care in the most efficient and cost-effective way, reinvesting to ensure services are sustainable. You will join a motivated, ambitious, and fast-growing team; we focus on competency, developing talent, and offer great flexibility. You must be HCPC registered and qualified as a clinician working within community practice. If you can manage a varied MSK caseload, are committed to CPD, and have the desire to develop yourself and the service with an eye on improving patient care, we’d like to hear from you.
