Planning Consultant - Rural Surveying

Our client is a leading property consultancy with a strong reputation across Northern England. They are looking for a Rural Surveyor with an interest in planning to join their Newcastle team as a Planning Consultant.
Position Overview
In this role, you will manage complex planning applications and develop new business opportunities. You will provide first-class advice to a range of clients, contributing directly to the success and growth of the planning team within this respected consultancy.
Responsibilities
* Secure new business opportunities and clients.
* Project manage complex planning applications.
* Manage and mentor junior planning consultants.
* Respond to development plan consultations.
* Provide expert planning advice to clients.
* Help build a positive and successful team.
Requirements
* A Rural Surveyor background with an interest in planning.
* Experience in development management and EIA.
* Commercially aware with strong networking skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Organised, self-motivated and performance-driven.
