Role Summary
As a Night Recovery Worker at Hunger Hill, you will support men with dual diagnoses, drug and alcohol use, and forensic histories, helping them achieve independence through person‑centred support plans and sleep hygiene.
Responsibilities
* Work holistically to support guests during night shifts (21:45pm – 8:15am).
* Develop risk‑management strategies and promote sleep hygiene.
* Collaborate with the overnight staff member for support.
* Facilitate skill‑building and coping strategies aligned with individual support plans.
* Attend regular supervision, team meetings, and training sessions; participate in career development.
* Manage a small caseload flexibly with day shift coverage available.
Qualifications
* Experience in the mental‑health sector, familiarity with the recovery model.
* Solution‑focused, person‑centred approach, adaptable to fast‑paced, challenging environments.
* Strong initiative and teamwork skills.
* Empathy, understanding, patience, genuine interest in helping people with diverse needs.
