This varied role is a great opportunity for someone with strong written English, solid computer skills and a proactive approach, someone who is looking to develop their career in a content-focused Ecommerce environment and wanting to make a real impact through attention to detail and language skills.
As an Ecommerce Content Administrator, youll play an important part in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Commercial team. Your main responsibility will be creating and managing product content to ensure our website listings are clear, accurate, and professionally presented. This includes uploading data, writing product descriptions and making sure everything looks and reads to a high standard.
Youll also assist with the build-out of new products and printer listings, working across teams to keep product catalogues up to date. Maintaining a solid understanding of our systems and processes will be key, as will your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple content tasks at once.
The role will offer excellent learning opportunities and is well suited to someone who has recently completed A-Levels or a similar qualification with a strong focus on English or editing skills.
You will work on site in our Winsford offices four days a week and one day working at home.
About The Role
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Input and maintain product data accurately using internal systems and Microsoft Excel.
* Conduct product research to ensure all content is relevant, informative, and tailored to the intended audience.
* Proof read and edit content to ensure 100% accuracy, professional tone, and readability.
* Create accurate and engaging product content, including writing product descriptions and selecting appropriate images.
* Share key product and content information across departments in a timely and accurate manner.
* Stay up to date with product areas, including new releases, features, and category-specific trends.
* Maintain and regularly update process documentation within your area of responsibility.
* Ensure consistency across all content, including tone, style, formatting, and imagery.
* Manage multiple content requests simultaneously, prioritising workload based on team and business needs.
* Take pride in producing high-quality work that reflects the standards of the brand.

Requirements
Essential Skills Required:
* A-Level or equivalent qualification in English Language, Literature, or a related subject with strong language and grammar emphasis.
* Excellent written English with strong grammar and spelling, great attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
* A proven competent and confident user of Microsoft Office especially Excel and other Office applications for data input and basic analysis.
* Experience creating or managing written content, such as product descriptions, website content, or marketing materials.
* Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once, able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
