Your Role As a Siphonic Systems Supervisor, you will oversee and deliver reactive and planned maintenance services focusing on siphonic drainage systems. The role involves working at heights, travel, and flexible working patterns.
Core Responsibilities: Supervise and work within teams on maintenance projects across commercial and industrial roofing
Work safely at heights daily
Undertake guttering, cladding, and roofing repairs or replacements
Install or replace Siphonic Rainwater Outlets (RWOs)
Carry out repairs to siphonic drainage systems, including replacing blocked pipework, swapping flex-seal couplers for electrofusion sleeves, and installing or upgrading system bracketry
Install supplementary systems like overflow spitters to ensure compliance with British Standards
Conduct system servicing, blockage removal, and fault detection
Use portable devices for risk assessments and reporting
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Represent the business professionally and ensure quality workmanship
Desirable Skills
IPAF (1b, 3a, eb)
CSCS labourer or skilled worker
PASMA
Driving Licence
First aid
SSSTS
NVQ in Slating & Tiling/Sheeting & Cladding
Sika products (Single ply, Liquids, Waterproofing, Siphonic Drainage)
Essential Skill
Experience in external reactive building maintenance, including leaks and repairs in pitched roofing, guttering, slating, concrete tiling, flat roofing, and commercial sheeted roofs

NSS Maintenance is a working-at-height contractor serving facilities management and refurbishment clients across the UK. Operating from four depots, we provide planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and refurbishment services to commercial, retail, and industrial sectors. We employ 600 staff and own a fully serviced truck-mounted access fleet for reactive and planned maintenance.
