Our client, a prominent player in the water industry, is currently seeking a Site Agent to join their team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the UU MSP Framework, focusing on various water infrastructure projects such as Water Treatment Works (WTW), Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW), pumping stations, and reservoirs.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the daily operations and management of construction sites.
Ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project requirements are being met.
Managing resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control.
Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Preparing and maintaining accurate project documentation and reports.
Providing technical guidance and support to the project team.
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in civil engineering within the water sector.
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A degree in civil engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
