AV Installation Engineer - Digital Signage & Audio Visual
Location: Manchester (with UK-wide travel)
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Opportunity
The client are an established and award-winning digital signage and audio-visual consultancy, working with some of the biggest and most recognisable brands across the UK. With over 25 years of industry experience, we design, install, commission and support high-quality AV and digital signage solutions nationwide.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Installation Engineer to join their close-knit engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, motivated engineer who enjoys working on varied projects, travelling across the UK, and delivering exceptional results for high-profile clients.
The Role
As an Installation Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering digital signage installations at customer sites across the UK. You will typically work as part of a two-person engineering team, supported by our Project Managers and in-house Helpdesk.
This role involves regular nationwide travel and overnight stays (hotels and subsistence fully provided). No two days are the same, and you'll be working in a variety of customer environments, representing the company in a professional and presentable manner.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of digital signage and communications hardware
Ensuring equipment is installed correctly and operates to specification
Carrying out testing and fault-finding during installation
Assisting with support calls and additional AV installations when required
Working closely with Project Managers and fellow Engineers to meet deadlines
Completing installation reports and commissioning documentation
Always ensuring safe working practicesWhat We're Looking For
At least 3 years' experience in a similar installation or engineering role
Experience using power tools and carrying out physical installation work
Comfortable with manual handling and moving large digital displays
Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
Good IT skills and the ability to complete documentation accurately
Confident communicator with a professional, customer-focused approach
A positive, proactive "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a teamDesirable (but not essential)
Clean UK driving licence
CSCS, PASMA and/or IPAF certificationsWhat We Offer
