gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Materials and Logistics Team Leader to work at their facility based near Wrexham
Performance Objectives
* Team Leader for Materials & Logistics.
* Leading the Materials Team daily operating duties and managing stock accuracy.
* Leading the Logistics team, planning inbound and outbound materials and finished goods.
* Loading and unloading containers on site.
* Feeding production lines.
Person Specification
* Proven experience in a materials and logistics role within a manufacturing environment, with supervisory or team leadership experience.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and processes.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to materials handling and logistics.
* Experience in container management and coordinating goods in and out operations.
* Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* Skills and Competencies
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
* Proactive and able to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Additional Requirements
* Forklift license (desirable).
* Ability to work flexible hours when required.
* Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
