MSK Physiotherapy Service Hounslow in West London NHS Trust is dedicated to help patients manage their pain, improve their problem, prevent re-injury and promote health and wellbeing

The Operational Support and Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and supervision of the borough-based MSK services administrative team and are required to work closelywiththespecialistadministrationrolesinthetotalmanagementoftheHounslowMSK services administrationservice, and the flexible deployment of staff to ensure work is prioritized and delivered to time scale.

You will deputise the Admin Manager on her behalf and will have overall responsibility for the supervisory Staff management and electronic systems (S1 booking, ERS and Health rosters).

Main duties of the job

Toworkcloselywiththebusinessandclinicalteam/servicemanagersin ensuringtheefficientdelivery,managementandserviceimprovementofbusinesssystems to support the delivery of high-quality frontline clinical services.

The post holder will co-ordinate a comprehensive administrative support service to the clinicalteamsandanefficientreferralandappointment/visitingmanagementsystemviathe electronicpatientdatabase.Ensuringtheprovisionofhigh-qualitycustomerservicesinthe interface between the patients, carers, primary care, secondary care, community care, social care and voluntary organizations.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

1. A levels/NVQ3 or equivalent experience, in addition to GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
2. Understand the delivery of high quality and safe clinical services utilizing digital solutions.

Experience

Essential criteria

3. Experience of working in an NHS/Healthcare/Charity/Local Authority environment
4. Experience in providing and leading dynamic high quality administration support to a range of people/teams

Desirable criteria

5. Understanding and Knowledge of Key Performance indications/Target in relation to Service delivery
6. Use of NHS IT systems e.g. SystmOne, ERS, Cerner, Datix, etc

Knowledge

Essential criteria

7. Knowledge of processes, systems and structures used to deliver efficient and effective administration support in a large organization
8. Knowledge and experience of how to signpost patients to other services users
9. Understanding of data protection and confidentiality
10. Knowledge of the principles of good customer care
