Overview
An exciting opportunity to recruit permanent Administration Assistant working at Holmer Court, Colchester.
We are looking for someone with the ability and confidence to use their own initiative and prioritise tasks. The post holder must possess excellent communication skills and relevant administrative experience, must be flexible and have attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Provide front line support to clinical colleagues with administrative tasks, front desk support, face to face and over the telephone.
* Travel to various sites to provide admin support to services and receptions (areas covered: North East Essex).
* Greet service users and professionals; monitor an email account for work and process messages appropriately; order, book appointments and transport; update clinical systems; cover receptions when required; and perform general administrative duties to the Clinical Teams.
* Be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; full training will be given on our database system.
* Work as part of a team and also independently as required.
Requirements
* Positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care; ability to handle potentially distressing situations; professional, efficient, friendly and polite.
* Role requires Thursday and Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
* Experience with Microsoft packages is essential.
