A thriving and inclusive secondary school in Preston is seeking a talented and dedicated French Teacher to join our modern languages department from 1st December 2025, to cover a period of maternity leave.
About the Role:
You will teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of languages and cultural awareness. This is a full-time role and a great opportunity to become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking department.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality French lessons
* Assessing and tracking student progress
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Contributing to departmental planning and extracurricular activities
* Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching French at secondary level
* A strong subject knowledge and passion for languages
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
* A proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive approach
