Role Overview
Your primary responsibility will be to act as a front office contact for designated private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients. You will be part of a supportive team, managing your tasks proactively and resolving issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day operations for designated Private Equity or Real Estate clients.
2. Review quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Collaborate with your line manager and technical team to ensure compliance with reporting requirements (e.g., UK GAAP, IFRS).
4. Review investor drawdown and distribution calculations for accuracy.
5. Communicate cash movements between the fund and investors through notices.
6. Oversee preparation and timely delivery of client reports and deliverables.
7. Conduct regular client calls to maintain effective communication.
8. Mentor and support team members, sharing expertise on designated clients and funds.
9. Understand and apply the accounting framework outlined in fund legal documentation.
10. Contribute ideas to improve processes for efficiency and risk reduction.
Qualifications and Experience
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional office environment.
* Experience reviewing working papers and financial statements is preferred.
* Strong accounting background demonstrated through experience and CPD.
* Experience managing client relationships and resolving issues directly.
* Mentoring experience for less experienced team members is a plus.
