Deliver a key person approach, building strong, supportive relationships with children and families.
Ensure safeguarding, welfare, SEND, British Values, and all statutory requirements are consistently met.
Plan, observe, and evaluate children's learning in line with the EYFS curriculum, maintaining accurate records through formative and summative assessments.
Conduct parent meetings to share progress, and work in partnership with parents, carers, and external professionals (e.g., SENDCOs, EYFS advisors, health practitioners).
Support smooth transitions for children moving between rooms and on to primary school.
Promote children's health and wellbeing by meeting nutritional needs, complying with Food Safety Regulations, and upholding the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Take shared responsibility for health, safety, and security across the nursery, adhering to all policies, emergency procedures, and company standards.
Role model best practice, mentoring and supporting colleagues, new staff, and apprentices.
Demonstrate and uphold the company's values, philosophy, and ethos in daily practice.
Take responsibility for personal and professional development, completing training and staying up to date with industry knowledge.
