An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm in Brighton as a Legal Cashier. This firm is known for its excellence, supportive culture, and long-standing reputation in the region.
You will be joining a friendly and collaborative finance team of five, playing a key role as a Legal Cashier in supporting the smooth financial operations of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing client and office account transactions in line with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
2. Handling bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial records
3. Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures
4. Supporting fee earners with financial queries
5. General bookkeeping and cashiering duties to support the finance team
About You:
6. Previous legal cashier experience is highly desirable, though candidates with a bookkeeping background will also be considered
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work
8. Familiarity with Solicitors Accounts Rules
9. A proactive team player with excellent communication skills
