Role Description
This is a full-time, Senior Estimator role with the option of being home based. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project plans, liaising with stakeholders, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The role also includes evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids, maintaining cost databases, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project teams to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in cost estimation, budget management, and financial analysis
* Strong understanding of construction, engineering, or relevant industries
* Proficiency in estimation tools and software
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Strong communication and negotiation abilities to work effectively with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
* Knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and compliance standards
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field preferred
* Chartered status or equivalent professional certification is a plus
