Role Summary
The Pensions Project Analyst (PPA) role is within the Bulk Events Team in Shared Services at EQRS. The role is vital in delivering bulk events and ensuring objectives are met.
PPAs will own or contribute significantly to bulk event tasks, with decision-making authority within budget and time constraints.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, results focus, and an understanding of delivery within time and cost constraints.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
* Deliver bulk event tasks aligned with business objectives, working with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
* Provide recommendations and manage implementation of solutions.
* Identify and implement service and system improvements.
* Support and coordinate activities, leading others when necessary.
* Analyze data to process bulk events within deadlines.
* Maintain data integrity.
* Prepare documentation for complex pension and calculation tasks.
* Gather third-party documentation for deliverables.
Skills, Capabilities, and Attributes
Candidates should demonstrate:
* Strong pension knowledge (Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution), understanding of pension legislation, calculations, and scheme rules.
* Experience working in project teams or on pension administration projects, with a hybrid of business and IT skills.
* Ability to assess business requirements and issues impacting delivery.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Problem-solving skills, numeracy, and literacy.
* Flexibility, decisiveness, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Team player with a positive attitude and commitment.
* Ability to work independently within project needs.
* Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
