We pride ourselves on offering a responsive, high quality and local service. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? As Account Manager you will be responsible for meeting the individual sales targets by value, product type and profitability. You’ll achieve this by using practical hands-on demonstration and sales skills to sell engineering and welding products and a full suite of industrial gases to new and existing customers in the UK. This is a solution based sales role, so we’re ideally looking for an individual who has a strong track record in technical sales, and an expertise in customer relationship management. Your responsibilities will include: Being responsible for achieving the Company’s sales and profit targets for individual named accounts with some prospecting for new business. Being responsible for effecting an efficient and satisfactory supply and service to customers of the company. Effective planning and execution of account planning, maximising customer facing time. Compliance with company policies, in particular Health & Safety regulations. Be proActive in up-selling, cross selling full range of product offer. Using historic data and market trends to bring innovation, and new ideas to support customers' growth. Take ownership of the named accounts including dealing with client issues raised, revenue and product mix. Be responsible for the Company’s assets, which are on loan or rent to customers. Being the single point of contact and become the go to person for your customers. Are you a MATCH? The ideal candidate for this role will be a natural people person with an ability to develop strong working relationships with customers and stakeholders across the business. You will need a strong business acumen and commercial mindset. We also look for: A strong background in Account Management and/ or B2B Sales, ideally within the industrial sector. An ability to advise end users on processes and equipment selection Any knowledge of welding products, the fabrication sector or the industrial gas industry is a plus, but not essential. Any working knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a benefit Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
