Why not join us as a Technician - Hair and Beauty? This is a part-time role, working 25.9 hours per week (Monday - Thursday), on a term-time only basis. Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare. Day to day duties of the role To supervise, advise and demonstrate technical skills to students and have an oversight of their use of resources. To source, stock and control the administration of resources and equipment to academic, support staff and learners. To maintain an inventory of all equipment, apparatus and resources and to organise the staff storage of equipment, apparatus and resources conforming with all relevant Health and Safety regulations. To operate equipment as required including loading of automatic washing and drying machines with laundry and use of detergents. To ensure a full laundry support the Hair and Beauty division. Required skills and qualifications Previous experience of customer service. Understanding of stock control and/or purchasing systems. Understanding of Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy or Barbering. Ability to work independently, without direction.
