Bench Hand Joiners needed in Narborough LE19, Leicester - Day and Night shifts available
Location:LE19 Narborough, Leicester
Salary: £16.00 per hour - Days & £17.00 per hour - Nights
Hours:
Monday to Friday
DAYS 06:00-18:00 hours are flexible- can also work 06:00-16:00.
NIGHTS 18:00-06.00 or 20:00-06:00
Saturday and Sunday overtime available every week
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently looking for a Bench Hand Joiners to join a well-established company based in Narborough, Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous Bench Joining experience to join a friendly and growing team.
The Role:
* Working to production schedules
* Interpreting technical plans and diagrams
* Estimating the materials needed for a job and producing cutting lists
* Selecting wood that's suitable for a particular job
* Measuring timber and markingitup ahead of cutting
* Cutting timber to required dimensions
* Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
* Assembling timber structures in a workshop, such aswindow anddoor frames
* Conducting quality checks and reporting to senior staff
About You:
* Proven experience in purpose-made joinery
* Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and joinery cutting lists.
* Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management skills
* Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
* Working knowledge of different woodworking tools and machinery
* Knowledge of health and safety requirements and regulations
