As EC&I Engineer reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll drive maintenance excellence and system reliability across the plant. You'll work closely with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot, improve, and future-proof our electrical systems.
Responsibilities
* Leading 1-year and 3-5-year asset improvement plans
* Implementing Written Schemes of Examination and Risk-Based Assessments
* Advising on repairs and inspection intervals to meet legal and business standards
* Supporting plant upgrades, modifications, and CAPEX projects
* Diagnosing faults using data, modelling, and system analysis
* Promoting best practices in maintenance and change management
* Training and mentoring engineers, fitters, and apprentices
* Driving Health & Safety compliance and zero-harm culture
* Reviewing plant performance and leading root cause analysis
* Improving preventive maintenance plans with the Engineering Planner
Qualifications
* Experience with Siemens S5/S7, Allen Bradley, & Mitsubishi PLCS's
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance strategies, and project delivery
* HNC/D in Electrical Engineering / Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
* 18th Edition certification (essential)
* Familiarity with CMMS, databases, and project software
* Demonstrable ability to design, program and deliver working industrial control systems
