About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Countryman Inn in East Knighton. As an essential part of the kitchen, you'll ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes by keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and well-stocked. This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas, including equipment, floors, and surfaces.
* Wash, dry, and store pots, pans, utensils, and crockery.
* Assist chefs by collecting and organising ingredients and equipment.
* Unpack and store deliveries safely and efficiently.
* Ensure waste and recycling are managed correctly.
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times.
* Support the wider kitchen team with any ad-hoc tasks.
