Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety of all patrons at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and providing first aid when necessary.
Duties
* Monitor pool areas to ensure the safety of all swimmers and prevent accidents.
* Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
* Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as required.
* Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health standards.
* Communicate effectively with patrons, providing guidance on safety practices and addressing any concerns.
* Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on lifeguarding techniques and emergency procedures.
* Assist in the organisation of swimming events or activities as needed.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not essential; training can be provided.
* Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; candidates must be willing to obtain these certifications if not already held.
* Strong compliance management skills to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with patrons of all ages.
