Qualified Psychologist - Community / Home Based
Location: King’s Lynn, Norfolk with remote/home-based work where appropriate. Part-time hours (22.5 – 30 per week) with flexible working where possible.
Salary: £46,781 to £53,592 per year plus benefits. Band 8a (NHS Agenda for Change). Fixed term contract (12 months).
Employer: St Andrew’s Healthcare – Outpatient Services, Community Based Mental Health Therapy Services. This service is part of a larger organization known for research, CPD opportunities and staff development.
Overview
The role is a Qualified Psychologist embedded in Community/Criminal Justice settings, delivering outcome-based psychological therapy and contributing to service development. The post is part of collaboration with the National Probation Service to deliver Community Sentence Treatment Requirements as part of a Mental Health Treatment Requirement initiative in the Norfolk region.
Responsibilities
* Provide psychological assessment and interventions within the framework of MHTRs and service policies.
* Deliver evidence-based, manualised psychological therapies and supervise Assistant Psychologists.
* Collaborate with the team and consultant Psychologist to support complex cases and service development, including opportunities for co-production with service users.
* Work in community settings with some appointments in service user locality and remote/telephone/video formats; travel as required.
* Support research, CPD activities, and access to peer support within the organisation.
Qualifications & Requirements
* HCPC Registration (essential).
* Experience working with similar services (essential).
* Experience with therapeutic modalities such as CBT, EMDR, and Compassion Focused Therapy is advantageous; development support available.
* Full driving licence or access to reliable transport; flexible working includes home-based options.
