We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales effort globally within the Subsea Ancillaries Product Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Driving profitable revenue growth
* Developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships
* Identifying and developing new market opportunities within the subsea and offshore energy sectors.
* Creating a strong, long-term pipeline to ensure future success
Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, procurement and technical personnel
* Develop a deep understanding of customer strategies, business plans, procurement behaviours and technical needs
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across oil & gas, floating offshore wind and other subsea sectors
* Develop and deliver a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and margin targets for your customer(s)
* Develop and deliver a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and margin targets for your core product(s)
* Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product strategy, customer strategy and market positioning
* Support your primary Business Development Manager to develop their markets and support other Business Development Managers as required
* Collaborate closely with other departments including engineering, projects, marketing and operations to ensure we deliver fantastic levels of customer service
* Create and deliver high-quality sales presentations, proposals and other supporting material
* Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasting and reporting
Main Duties:
* Deliver sales targets in line with the company’s strategic and commercial objectives
* Promote the product and services portfolio to customers in offshore oil & gas, renewable energy and other relevant subsea markets
* Identify, develop and manage long-term customer relationships
* Represent CRP Subsea and the wider AIS Group at industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings
* Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards and compliance requirements
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and market developments
* Travel domestically and internationally to support sales efforts and build customer relationships
* Prepare and submit competitive solutions to complex tenders, managing risk and ensuring full compliance with CRP’s bidding process
* Ensure seamless handover of won orders to the Project team, supporting successful execution and customer satisfaction
* Review team members’ costings and proposals in line with their delegated authority
* Mentor more junior members of the team and/or new starters as required
* Contribute to team development and recruitment
* Challenge the status-quo with respect to product, service and commercial offerings

Education:
* College educated or technical background, or equivalent qualification in an engineering or sciences discipline.
Experience:
* Proven track record of winning high-value, complex sales.
* Demonstrated success in building strong customer relationships.
* Experience leading major sales opportunities.
* Strong understanding of offshore energy markets including oil & gas and floating offshore wind
* Technical product knowledge related to subsea or offshore systems.
* Salary depending on experience
