Position Overview
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) is an established provider of the national programme for Talking Therapies, delivering stepped care treatment for people with mild, moderate and severe common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.
This role is a permanent contract for Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) across various bases in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with flexibility on location.
The role requires a combination of office‑based and working‑from‑home days. Employees will hold a caseload of Step 2 patients and provide a combination of in‑person, remote and group‑based treatments for mild‑to‑moderate mental health problems.
Responsibilities
* Maintain standards of practice according to the employer and any regulating bodies
* Deliver suitability assessments to determine patient suitability and step
* Provide step 2 assessments, individual and group‑based treatments using video calling, phone and in‑person
* Attend appropriate supervision groups as agreed by the clinical lead / team leader
* Ensure all aspects of confidentiality relating to both the service and individuals are always maintained
* Attend agreed regular clinical and managerial supervision in line with the trust’s policies and guidelines
* Ensure all staff are aware of professional standards expected in the service
* Participate in Trust’s appraisal, performance management framework and ensure adherence to Clinical Governance policies
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice
Employment Details
Working pattern combines office‑based and remote days. Locations are flexible with agreement with candidates.
