We have exciting opportunities to join our MusculoskeletalPhysiotherapy services across Worcestershire, with potential clinics within theMalvern Hills and Worcester and Droitwich locality. We are able to offer x 3wtepermanent Band 6 Musculoskeletal positions recently available through careerdevelopment opportunities.

We offer a robust In-service trainingprogramme with includes monthly IST, clinical supervision and journal clubalongside county wide training sessions and courses. Our Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners workalongside our core Physiotherapy team and support with our training programme.

Main duties of the job
You will be working as part of aMusculoskeletal Physiotherapy team, alongside other Physiotherapists, Physioassistants and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners. You will also need to link in with the widerMDT across various platforms.
You will be required to manage a variedcaseload of musculoskeletal conditions including orthopaedic, post-surgical andchronic conditions. As a member of theteam you will have an active part in training junior members of staff andstudents on placements.

Job description
Job responsibilities
1. Undertake physiotherapy assessments andtreatment of patients who may have highly complex and acute / chronicpresentation, to determine clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatmentsneeded, and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
2. Formulate individualised management and treatment plans usingclinical reasoning and utilise a wide range of treatment skills and options todeliver specialised programmes of care.
3. Educate and trainphysiotherapists, health care professionals, physiotherapy students, carers andassistants in physiotherapeutic management. This includes contribution to CPDof the MDT.
4. Accept clinicalresponsibility for a designated caseload of patients, to organise / triage thisefficiently and effectively regarding clinical priorities and use of time.

5. A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience including work in a variety of specialities
6. Experience of supervision of junior staff or students.
