Are you interested in a fast-paced role? We are looking for a Senior Account Handler to join our visionary and friendly office. Primarily, you will be responsible for providing a quality service by handling client excellence. You will work collaboratively with the expert Account Executives to achieve common goals, fostering team cohesion for the best outcomes. You should have experience in the insurance sector, be knowledgeable about the local market, and focus on putting clients at the heart of your actions.
How you'll make an impact
* Obtain renewal terms for your customers and explore alternative quotations before producing a final presentation for account managers to discuss with customers.
* Produce market presentations as required and negotiate terms with insurers.
* Check insurer documentation for accuracy and provide it to the customer within specified timescales.
* Assist with customer queries, liaise with insurers regarding potential changes and new policy terms.
* Ensure all account administration is completed—confirm cover with insurers, process policies, and chase outstanding documentation.
* Secure delivery of policy documentation from insurers, check prior to approval and release by Account Executive, and act as the point of contact for this account.
* Handle account queries and credit control matters, highlighting concerns to account managers, and understand and apply relevant legal and regulatory policies.
* Monitor monthly budget and income figures.
* Collaborate with your account handler, providing guidance and training.
* Assist team members as required.
About You
* Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with knowledge of general insurance (London Market / Lloyd’s) products and services, and understanding of legal principles related to risk.
* Experience in the insurance industry, especially corporate and motor fleet sectors, is essential.
* Target-driven, with experience working in a regulated environment.
* Risk-aware, with good customer service skills and the ability to identify potential issues.
* Detail-oriented, well-organized, with strong interpersonal skills.
